BLOOMFIELD; Angelina E. Marquez-Jaramillo, 77, of Bloomfield, our beloved mother, daughter, grandmother, sister and aunt, went home to our Heavenly Father on November 11, 2025. Angie was born on October 1, 1948, in Blanco, NM to Salomon Vallejos and Clotilda Florez.
Angie was a member of the Local Labors Union #16 for many years and worked numerous other jobs. Family meant everything to Angie. Her children and grandchildren were her world. She had such a wonderful personality with spunk and had the best stories to tell. She knew no stranger. She was very selfless, giving, but most of all she had a heart of gold. She loved her western TV shows, Telemundo, and cooking. Her favorite past time was listening to her oldies music while she crochet. She was loved by so many and brought joy and comfort to everyone she met. She will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her two sons; Richard Marquez, John Marquez and daughter Realynn Marquez-Florez (Myron), her grandchildren; DeAngelo Sanchez (Amanda), Brittany Marquez, Kayla Jacquez (Deven), Jake Marquez, (Brea), Nine great-grandchildren, her brother; Telly Vallejos, her sister; Loyola Gonzales. She also leaves behind numerous relatives and friends who she loved dearly.
She is preceded in death by her parents; Salomon and Clotilda Vallejos, her Ex-husband Bobby C. Marquez, her brothers; Dave Florez, Joe Ulibarri, Mariano Vallejos, Victor Vallejos, foster brother Richard Espinoza, her sister; Sotera Maldonado and granddaughter Kaytie Florez.
A Rosary will be recited for Angie at 9:30 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, November 20th, 2025, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Bloomfield followed by interment at the Turley Cemetery in Turley, NM. Officiated by Rev. Francis Akano. Reception will follow interment at St. Mary’s Catholic Parish Hall in Bloomfield, NM.
