Angeline "Angie" M. Januszewski passed away peacefully on November 8, 2025, at the age of 85. Angie was born on August 10, 1940, in Chappell Hill, Texas. She was the beloved daughter of the late Max and Gertrude (Cegielski) Zientek and the cherished wife of the late Albin Januszewski. She met Albin the love of her life at a dance, and they were married on October 12, 1957, at Christ the King Catholic Church in Houston. Albin and Angie celebrated 56 wonderful years of marriage.
Together with her husband, Angie raised three children while working full time for over 35 years. Faithful to the Lord and full of life, she was sweet, personable, and known for her sharp wit. She listened with grace, loved without limits, and lived her Catholic faith every day. Angie loved playing games that brought joy to family and friends at every gathering.
Proud of her Polish heritage, she was a strong and independent woman who inspired those around her. During her retirement years, Angie loved spending time with her family, playing weekly card games and enjoying Friday dinners with her friends. She loved traveling to Louisiana to try her luck at the casinos with her beloved sister-in-law, also named Angie.
Angie was preceded in death by brothers Pete Zientek, Daniel Zientek and his wife Barbara, and beloved son-in-law Michael Lahrmann. She is survived by her dear sister-in-law Clara Zientek and many wonderful nieces and nephews.
Angie loved, equally and unconditionally, all her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was the proud mother of and survived by: Tommie Januszewski and wife Kim of Carmine; Diane Vento and husband Steven; and Tina Lahrmann all of Houston.
Affectionately known to her grandchildren as "Meemaw", she is survived by her six grandchildren, each of whom brought her many smiles and much laughter: Tiffany Davenport and husband Wesley of Forsyth, MT; Brittany Jacob and husband Tanner of Carmine; Keli Barham and husband Zachary; Kyle Vento and wife Heaven all of Houston; Amber Hueske and husband John of Brenham; and Blake Lahrmann and wife Chase of Houston.
Her fourteen great-grandchildren were precious blessings who brought her endless joy and happiness: Kroy and Anson Davenport; Kannon, Kyler, and Kane Jacob; Kaylee, Olivia, and Jaxson Barham; Roman Vento; Makenna and Hayden Hueske; and Liam, Haines, and Sunny Lahrmann.
