Angelo Naso

Angelo Naso, age 82, of Lanoka Harbor Passed away on Tuesday, October 7, 2025. Angelo was diagnosed with cancer in 1999 which he fought for 36 years. Angelo was born in Newark, formerly of Belleville before moving to Lanoka Harbor in 2005 so he could bring his family together which he loved spending his days with. Angelo worked for Iron Workers Local #11 retiring in 1999. Angelo was an Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam War. Angelo loved spending time with his family, growing a garden, eating oreo cookies and chocolate, feeding and watching birds and chasing the squirrels away.
Angelo was predeceased by his parents Dominick and Emilia Naso and his brother James T. Naso. He is survived by his wife of 60 years Bernadette Lee (nee Rossi), two daughters Tina Marie Naso and Michelle Lee (nee Naso) Klass, her husband Keith, two grandchildren: Ryan Angelo and Amanda Lee. Angelo is also survived by his sister Ann Marie Naso and nephew Matthew Naso.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 from 5pm till 8 pm at Riggs Funeral Home, 130 North Route 9, Forked River. A private Military burial will take place on Wednesday at 11:30am at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Provence Line Road, Wrightstown, NJ. Please arrive at the welcome center at 11:15 am.
A repass will follow at 2:00 pm, Klass House, 223 Quail Lane North, Lanoka Harbor, NJ.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked for contributions to be made to AIM2, (Alternatives Inc.) https://www.alternativesinc.org/ways-to-help/ in Angelo's Memory. Alternatives is Tina's program. Angelo was so proud of Tina.
