Anne Cerruto, age 85, of Brick, passed away peacefully on October 3rd, 2025, at Ocean Medical Center, surrounded by the love of her family.
Born in Newark and formerly of Roseland, Anne built a beautiful life centered around faith, family, and care for others. She was the devoted wife of Allan Cerruto, with whom she shared 63 wonderful years of marriage. Together they raised a loving family that was always the heart of her world.
Anne is survived by her husband Allan; her children Allan Cerruto and his wife Olga, Jackie Tufaro and her husband Tommy, and Donna Lucarelli and her husband Anthony. She is also survived by her brother John Petruney and his wife Connie, and her seven cherished grandchildren - Dominick, Nicholas, Gianna, Joseph, Victoria, Alexa, and Jovette - who knew her fondly as "Grammy."
Anne was a sweet and genuine person whose warmth touched everyone she met. She had a way of making people feel truly seen and cared for, always willing to lend a helping hand or a listening ear. She found joy in life's simple pleasures - attending church, trips to ShopRite, baking with her grandchildren, reading, and cheering on her beloved Yankees. Her deep faith and gentle spirit guided her life and the many lives she blessed.
Services will be held privately at Riggs Funeral Home, Forked River on Saturday, October 11th, 2025, between the hours of 1–3 p.m.
Anne will be remembered with endless love and gratitude by her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Saint Judes Hospital.
