Anise Marie LeBlanc, 93, of Danbury, beloved wife of Roger J. LeBlanc for 70 years, passed away peacefully on August 8, 2025. Born in Ste. Marie–de–Kent, New Brunswick, Canada, to the late Cleophas and Alexina Melanson, she moved to the U.S. in 1963 and helped build Roger Electric, Inc., while raising three children.
Anise embraced life with joy-cruising half the globe over 20 times, playing cards, bowling, and sharing simple pleasures with her loved ones. A devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she was a teacher without words and a pillar of strength, guiding her family with love, grace, and devotion.
Her legacy lives on with the love she gave and the example she set for living a life of faith, devotion, and joy.
She is survived by her husband, Roger; children Joanne Rux, Ronald LeBlanc (Diane), and Daniel LeBlanc (Sherry); grandchildren Carrie Ann Rux, Shawn Rux (Ashley), Renee LeBlanc (Bill Burnham), Sarah Kane (Rory), Jack, Benjamin, and Daniel LeBlanc Jr.; and great-grandchildren Aurora Anisa Rux, Safiyah Burnham, Khawlah Burnham, and Nuh Burnham. She also leaves behind three sisters Theresa, Margarette, Alberta and many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her son-in-law Greg Rux and six siblings Louis, Annette, Norman, Aurel, Audette, and Romeo. Funeral services will be held privately and a Celebration of Life gathering TBA at a later date.
