ANITA CAROL ALLEN

On Saturday, 13 September 2025, our Dear Lord and Savior called his daughter, Anita Allen home. She was surrounded by her family and friends and all the love they shared.

Anita was preceded in death by her Mother, Darkis Dial and her Grandmother, Rosie Bell Dial. She is survived by her husband of thirty-five (35) years, Kenneth, daughter, Kristy and Mark Locklear of Pembroke, and son, Channing Locklear of Maxton, NC, two (2) sisters Jane and Anthony McGirt of Pembroke, Julia and Melvin Brayboy of Maxton, two brothers, Robert Mitchell and Peggy Dial of Sumter, SC and Levernen Dial of Homosassa, Fl , step children, Melanie and Daniel Godwin of Lumberton, NC, Rhonda and Saron Chavis of Lumberton, Becky and Dennis Bullard of Pembroke, Ken Allen of Lumberton, thirteen (13) grandchildren, six (6) great grandchildren.

Anita held various positions of employment throughout her career in Robeson County, but she felt her greatest accomplishment was being saved by the grace of God. We all know she was a great Mother and devoted member of her church. We all know Anita's first love was shopping and if there was a bargain out there, she could find it. She also love to travel to new places and see different things in this great country of ours. We remember her saying on one of her adventures with her brothers and sisters, she really did not want to go back to Mexico but in a lot stronger terms. In her church and community, she was very active. In her church Anita was a Sunday school teacher of children and youth, always checking on the sick members of the church, always available to anyone that needed help or assistance, always assisting in decorating the church and always in the kitchen for every function. Each year during the Christmas holidays, she organized a gift basket for residents at various rest homes and their staff.

She will be laid to rest at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, on Wednesday 17, September 2025 at 1:00 PM at a grave site service.

The family wants to Thank everyone for all their prayers, visits and most of all your LOVE over the past few months. We could not have gotten through this without all your friendship and we are grateful to have such a loving family of friends who have been there for us. Continue to pray for the family in their time of healing and know that one day we will see her again.

The Service has been entrusted to Boles Funeral Home in Red Springs.
