Anita Faith Richmond

Anita Faith Richmond (nee Hutson), age 62, of Blackwood, NJ, passed away on November 3, 2025. Anita was born on the island of Oahu in 1962 and was raised in both Crisfield, Maryland and Berlin, New Jersey later residing in Gloucester City, New Jersey.

A loving daughter, mother, grandmother, sister and devoted wife, she leaves behind her mother, Roberta Hutson (nee Wharton), brothers Chris Hutson (Brandi), and Paul Hutson (Gabbi), husband, David Richmond Sr., four children; Angela Bates (John), Melissa Meischke (Jason), David Richmond Jr., and Samantha Spieler (Dave), and granddaughter Audrina Meischke; whom was her pride and joy. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and her cat and dog; Kylie and Bella.

Anita graduated from Moorestown High School in 1981. After being a homemaker for many years, she returned to the workforce, working for Spectrum Marketing and later Vesta Abstract Company. In her spare time she enjoyed shooting shuffle-bowl for Caps (A) in Gloucester City. She was also very crafty and enjoyed making hair bows, wreaths and holiday decor. Anita was very involved in her granddaughter's life and thoroughly enjoyed cheering Audrina on at her numerous dance recitals. She was the type of person who would do anything for anyone and would give you the shirt off her back. She will be deeply missed by those who knew her. Anita was an avid animal lover.

Services are being held privately at the request of the family.

The family asks in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to Homeward Bound Animal Shelter or Freedom Farm Animal Rescue.
