Maria Teresa Catrambone

Maria Teresa Catrambone (nee Madonna), age 93, of Turnersville, NJ, passed away at home on November 27, 2025 surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Gasperina, Calabria, Italy to Giuseppe and Elisabetta Madonna, Maria moved to the United States in 1960 and raised her family in South Philadelphia before settling in Turnersville in 1991.

Maria's happiest moments were found in time spent with family. She had a passion for cooking and baking and loved to host family gatherings. Maria also loved to garden; tending to her vegetables and beautiful rose bushes brought her immense joy.

Beloved wife of the late Giuseppe Catrambone. Devoted mother of John Catrambone, Assunta Vrontis (Stavros), Francine Forte (Nicoangelo), the late Francesco, the late Saverio, and the late Maria Anna. Loving grandmother of Konstantinos (Vasiliki), Theologia (Giuseppe), Maria Anna (Jonathon), Nicole Angela (Yianni) and great grandmother of Francesco Stavros. Dear sister of the late Francesco Madonna. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Wednesday, December 3rd from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM at Sts. Peter and Paul Church, 362 Ganttown Road, Turnersville. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 PM. Entombment will follow in All Saints Cemetery, Franklinville.
