John A. R. Catrambone 88 of Warwick passed away on July 17, 2025, at the VA Medical Center in Providence. He was the husband of the late Dorothy (Thompson) Catrambone.

John was born on May 10, 1937, in Brockton Massachusetts, son of the late Amelia (Paterno) and Silverio Catrambone. Upon his graduation from Brockton High School, John enlisted in the United States Army, spending much of his time stationed in Europe. He spent years living and working on the South Shore of Massachusetts, as he owned JC's Diary on Washington St. in Hanover, which opened in 1972 and his now owned and operated by his son, Richard. During John's time living on the South Shore, he lived in Brockton, Rockland prior to building a house in Norwell.

John was a people person and had a great sense of humor. Two of his greatest attributes were his strength and independence. He also enjoyed playing pool.

Mr. Catrambone is survived by his loving son Richard Catrambone and his wife Jenny of Cranston. In addition to his late wife Dorothy, John is reunited with his late son John Catrambone. He was the proud grandfather of Zoe Catrambone, Amelia Catrambone and Maxwell Catrambone.

In accordance with John's wishes, private cremation has been arranged, and all services will remain private. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Charles Coelho Funeral Home 151 Cross St. Central Falls, RI 02863.
