I have fond memories of Anita. I'm happy to have known her. She was a spunky fun gal.

Michelle, Sue, Cherie and Ron (I can call you by your name now since I´m in my 60´s -lol! Well I could write a mini book about what Anita meant to me. First meeting on 67th St she was the cool mom! I think I spent as much time at your house as mine. Anita always made me feel welcome and I can still remember her clam cakes and chowder! What a treat! We girls were always out exploring the woods, our pasture, building treehouses and forts by the pond. Michelle was the only one who our temperamental pony Flicka would allow to ride without bucking We were good kids but it was the late 60s and early 70s so a lot was happening in the world. Times were simple for us. We could be out all day and into the evening and we survived without cell phones and helicopter parents. Some of my favorite memories were going out with Anita and Sue and Michelle at night to deliver the KC Kansan newspaper and praying we would have gas to get home! And when Aunt Trudy and Aunt Claire would come to visit and they didn´t treat us like dumb kids! And who can forget Uncle Dave Tripp. I think we had a pretty special time way back when. I last saw Anita about 15 years ago and we laughed and shared old memories and again Anita made me feel special. She has a very special place in my heart as you all do, and I hope you can find Peace and joy in the memories you all share. Sending love to you all,
Darla
