Anita Pauline Walton, age 72, of Kerrville, Texas, entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior on September 11, 2025.
Born in April 1953.
Anita lived a life rooted in faith, filled with love, and dedicated to her family. She was a faithful servant of God whose unwavering belief was the guiding light of her journey. To all who knew her, she was a source of encouragement, wisdom, and joy.
Anita is survived by her devoted husband, Ronnie Walton, with whom she shared a lifetime of love, adventure, and cherished memories. Together they found joy in traveling the world, especially through their many cruises. Anita delighted in the beauty of God's creation, always drawn to butterflies as a symbol of grace and renewal.
She is also survived by her son, Shane, and his wife, Angie, along with her treasured grandchildren: Hannah, Grace, Markus, Ashley, Justin, Cheyenne, Cody, Joshua, Jacob and many great grandchildren. Her family was her greatest blessing, and she found immense joy in being a mother and grandmother. She loved deeply, prayed faithfully, and poured her heart into every relationship.
Anita was preceded in death by her mother, Betty; her brother, Wayne; and her daughter, Sherry. Though their absence weighed on her heart, her faith gave her peace and the assurance of reunion in heaven.
Her favorite reminder, spoken often, was simple yet profound: "Let Go and Let God!" Those words reflected her unwavering trust in the Lord, even in life's most difficult seasons.
Anita's legacy is one of love, faith, and family. Though she will be deeply missed, her spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew her and loved her.
A celebration of Anita's life will be held in Bronte, TX, where family and friends will gather to honor a remarkable woman who lived fully, loved deeply, and walked faithfully with God.
