Anita L. Ziegler, 78, of South Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2025, in Voorhees, NJ. Born on April 19, 1947, in Philadelphia, PA, Anita's life was a testament to the power of love and the joy of family.
Anita was predeceased by her parents, Anthony and Julie Profilio, who instilled in her the values of kindness and compassion that she carried throughout her life. Her memory will be treasured and kept alive by her loving son, Jason Ziegler; her adoring granddaughter, Gabriella Rose Ziegler; her devoted sister, Julianne Fioravanti; her caring niece, Regina Gialloreto; and her spirited nephew, Rocky Casciato.
A woman of many passions, Anita found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved spending quality time with her son and granddaughter, and she shared a special bond with Jason's dog, who was always by her side. Her culinary skills were unparalleled, and she took great delight in cooking for her family and friends, filling their homes with the aromas of her delicious creations.
Anita's zest for life extended beyond the kitchen. She enjoyed the excitement of going to the casinos.
Above all, Anita was loving. This single word encapsulates the essence of her being. Her love was a guiding force, a beacon that illuminated the lives of those who knew her. Her legacy is one of love, a legacy that will continue to inspire and comfort her family and friends.
Cremation was private and at the convenience of the family.
