Anja Niccole Duos-Brewster

Visitation services and a Celebration of Life for Niccole Duos Brewster, 48, will be held on Friday, October 20, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath South Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana.

Niccole was born on March 27, 1975 to Al and Ann Duos in Shreveport, Louisiana and passed away on Thursday, October 12, 2023, in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Niccole was the 4th of five children, and we had so much fun growing up together. There were crazy times and fun times, and we were all the best of friends. Niccole was Mom’s favorite though, and she could do no wrong, LOL!

Niccole graduated from Northeast Louisiana University with a bachelor’s degree in business. She married Robert Brewster in 2007. After years of working in the corporate world, Niccole left and started her own successful janitorial business. They loved to travel and spend time together. Although Niccole and Robert did not stay married, they loved each other dearly! Niccole was the best Aunt. She did not have any children of her own, so she spoiled all her nieces and nephews and gave them the best Christmas presents. She was a fabulous cook and loved entertaining for holidays and football games. Everyone looked forward to her menu when it was her turn in the holiday rotation. Niccole had a flare for decorating, and she absolutely loved Mardi Gras, Saints and LSU football. We will miss her fun spirit dearly!!

Niccole was preceded in death by her parents, Al and Ann Duos and great-niece, Izzy Duos.

Left to cherish her memory are her brothers, Todd Duos and wife, Rosa and Jason Duos; sisters, Allison Cooksey and husband, Ken and Renee’ Carr and husband, John; nieces and nephews, Cody Duos; Lauren Duos and her children, Kennon, Bryson, Brennan and Mya; Logan Duos and her child, Wren; Lily Duos and her child, Mily; Bryan Cooksey and wife, Sarah and their child, Kennedy; Tristen Cooksey and wife, Mallory and their children, Caroline, Ellie Rose and Cecilia; Carigan Carr and Peyton Carr; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and especially her lifelong friend, Margie Trant Hull.

The family wants to give thanks and praise to the Lord especially for his protection and provision over Niccole these last few years!
