It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Ann Wills Clayton, 68, of Calhoun, Georgia, who passed away on July 28, 2025. She was born in Millville, New Jersey, on May 29, 1957, daughter of the late William Louis and Alice May Simpkins Wills.
Ann was a beautiful person, exhibiting humor, kindness, and compassion to everyone she met. She was incredibly selfless - always putting others before herself. She enjoyed traveling, hiking, watching baseball, playing miniature golf, reading, and sewing, but nothing brought her more joy than spending time with family, especially her granddaughters, who lovingly called her "Grann."
Ann was a devoted wife to her husband of 43 years, Rob, a loving mother to her daughters, Carol Herndon and Bobbi Clayton, a doting grandmother to her granddaughters, Quinley and Nora, and a proud mother-in-law to her only son-in-law, Michael Herndon. She is also survived by her cherished brothers and sister, Marty Wills, Lou Wills, and Mary Lawrence.
To honor her wishes, her body was cremated, and a Celebration of Life Service is scheduled for 3:00 pm on August 29th at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Soddy Daisy, TN.
The Brannon family and staff are honored to serve the family of Mrs. Ann Wills Clayton.
