Ann Dansby, 37 Robinson Avenue, Asheville, North Carolina, was blessed with 90 years of life She was born July 11, 1935 and passed away January 12, 2026 at CarePartners Hospice.

Ann was a native of Baltimore, Maryland and the daughter of the late Myrtle Steele. She was an extremely delightful, diligent and dedicated employee working most of her life as a Dental Assistant during the day and an operator at the Oakley Coin Laundry at night. She helped her loving husband operate Ernest Janitorial Service while also being employed in the housekeeping industry. She was a faithful member of The Worldwide Missionary Baptist Church, and was a wonderful, God-fearing woman.

Ann Dansby was the quintessential representation of a beautiful soul. Known for being selfless, loving and caring. Ann Dansby shined a radiant light on those who had the pleasure of knowing her. With a loving heart, she was the guiding light to her family. The glue which bound generations, helping them blossom into respectable men and women. Though no one is perfect, to her family and friends, she was the closest personification of perfection. With a nurturing and giving heart, she lived her life praising the Lord while devoting herself to the happiness of those around. May Ann's soul be comforted in The Lord's compassion and love as she leaves this earth to reunite with her family and friends who are in Heaven to welcome her

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Dansby; sister and brother-in-law, Judy and James Hill; son, Wayne Dansby; granddaughter, Tia Dansby-Moorman; grandson, Ricardo Sharp, Jr.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving daughter, Pamela Dansby-Sharp, nephew, David Steele; grandchildren, Nakia Morris (Brian Morris), Jason Dansby (Michelle Sargent-Dansby);great-grandchildren, Dennis Moorman, Shakira Moorman, Terrell Fox, Kiana Hopkins, Tyler Rountree, Savannah Sharp, Riley Fullerton (Taylor Fullerton), Dejaun and Ricardo Dansby and Zacharie Brown; great-great-grandchildren, Alexandria, A'Mazekyne, A'Harleena, Decari & Melanie.

Jesus told her, "I am the resurrection and the life. Anyone who believes in me will live, even after dying. Everyone who lives in me and believes in me will never ever die. John 11: 25-26
