Ann Fragala Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Blake Chelmsford Funeral Home on Dec. 9, 2025.
Ann Bleeck Fragala, 83, of Nashua, NH (formerly of Westford, MA) died on December 7, 2025, at Lowell General Hospital. She was the wife of the late Robert J. Fragala with whom she celebrated 52 years of marriage before his death in 2017.
She was born on October 19, 1942, in Springfield, to the late Ernest and Mary (Homan) Bleeck. She graduated from Agawam High School in 1960 and Tufts University in1964 with a BA in Government/History.
She worked as an office manager at Stateline Irrigation Supply in Tyngsboro, for 15 years. She especially loved coordinating trips and parties for Stateline employees and customers, and she always loved her Stateline family. Prior to that, she worked as a realtor for Coldwell Banker in Chelmsford.
She is survived by her daughter Joni Lavoie and her husband Nate of Chelmsford, and her son Rob Fragala and his wife Christen of Chelmsford. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Kira and Adam Lavoie, Sergei Leary, and Andrew and Ella Fragala, as well as her sister Frieda Bleeck of San Antonio, TX. She was also the sister of the late Joni Bleeck.
Ann enjoyed traveling and spending time with friends and family both in CA, where she wintered for many years, and in MA. She was a loving mother and caring friend who enjoyed hosting parties and was considered the glue that kept her friend groups together. For the past several years, she had an apartment at The Huntington at Nashua where she was very active in social activities. She loved her family deeply and really enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours to be held on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, from 4pm-7pm at Blake Chelmsford Funeral Home, 24 Worthen St., Chelmsford. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, December 18, 2025, at 11am at St. Mary Parish, 25 North Rd., Chelmsford. Interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery in Westford.
