Ann Marie Harcum

Ann Marie Evans Harcum, 84, of Hebron, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, January 24, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Ann was born on August 21, 1941, at home in Mardela Springs, to the late W. Elderdice Evans and Mary Bull Evans. On March 14, 1958, she married the love of her life, Ralph Harcum Jr., and together they devoted their lives to working the family farm and building a legacy rooted in hard work and dedication.

Ann drove a school bus for ten years, a role she took great pride in serving he community. She was also a co-founder of Harcum Farm Market, where she was well known for her attention to detail and strong work ethic. In addition, Ann was a member of the Wicomico County Farm Bureau.

In her leisure time, Ann enjoyed bowling and cherished time spent in church fellowship, where she found joy, friendship, and faith.

She was preceded in death be her beloved husband, Ralph Harcum Jr., and her brothers, Kenneth and Wilson Evans.

Ann is survived by her sons Ralph Harcum III and Michael W. Harcum and his wife Dawn, all of Hebron; and her daughter, Cheryl Harcum Palla and her husband Michael of Littlestown, PA. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Courtney Miller and her husband Cameron of York, PA; Elizabeth Ginter and her husband Brandon of Hanover, PA; Taylor Revel and her husband Cody; Travis Harcum and his fiancée Kelli Piakowski; Evan Harcum; and Katie Knaly and her husband Wade. She was a proud great-grandmother to Emmitt and Jaxson Revel; Dorothy and Fletcher Miller; and Kennedy Knaly.

Ann will be remembered for her devotion to her family, her strong work ethic, and the quiet care she showed in everything she did.
