It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Ann Knauss after a brief illness. She was surrounded by her loved ones as she peacefully left this world on March 20,2022. She was 82 years old.
Ann was born to Louis and Arletta Annas in Allentown, Pa. After graduating high school Ann worked at AT&T. She married her husband Pierce Knauss in 1961 and together had 3 daughters. Ann was a loving stay at home Mom and sacrificed everything for her family. When her children were raised she returned to work and became a successful Research Director for a marketing research firm.
Ann was incredibly smart, witty and a compassionate caregiver. She loved spending time with her 7 grandchildren. You could always count on Grandma to babysit, attend sports events, recitals, proms, graduations and just relax at the beach with the grandkids. She was everyone's Grandma. She was a skilled and competitive tennis player, avid mahjong player, enjoyed family time at the beach, and a good book. She will truly be missed by all whose lives she touched. She leaves behind her husband Pierce, daughters Lori, Linda, and Liane, sons-in-law Bill and Bob, and grandchildren Krista, Bobby, William, Connor, Hunter, Lily and Brynn.
A Memorial Service and Celebration of Life is scheduled for 11:30 am on Thursday, April 14, 2022 at the LBI Hotel, 350 West 8th Street, Ship Bottom, NJ 08008. In lieu of flowers, please donate to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital on her behalf at 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959 or online at www.stjude.org. Arrangements are under the care of Orender Family Home for Funerals, Manasquan, NJ.
