Kevin Gleason

Kevin M. Gleason, 68, of Brielle passed away Thursday at his home surrounded by his loving siblings after a brief illness. Born in Elizabeth NJ, he attended St. Mary's Grammar School in Rahway and graduated from Manasquan High School in 1975 where he earned the nickname "Ping-pong" for his table tennis prowess. He was a self-employed carpenter and worked for Poss Construction Inc. for many years. He was best known for his quick wit and sense of humor. He was an avid reader who loved to ride his electric bike to the inlet and cove to fish or read a good book. He was a lifelong member of the Manasquan Elks.

He was predeceased by his parents, Thomas P. Gleason and R. Lois Gleason (nee Nilsen) and survived by his siblings, Thomas C. Gleason, Eileen A. Gleason and Sean P. Gleason and wife Debra. He is also survived by his "adopted" brother and great family friend Thomas Madigan of Sea Girt. Kevin was a loving Uncle to many nieces and nephews, Kelly Anne (and her two children Shane and Aiden) Brianna, Conor, Jack and Mary.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation Monday August 25, 3-7pm at Orender Family Home for Funerals, 2643 Old Bridge Road, Manasquan.
