Ann L. LaNeve, 89, of East Liverpool and formerly of Grant St. in Newell, passed away at the Calcutta Health Care Center on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, after a brief illness.
Ann was born in Newell on April 15, 1935, to the late Dominick and Josephine Pranno LaNeve.
She retired from the office of Mason Color in East Liverpool and was an active member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Chester, where she was a member of the Ladies Guild. Ann graduated from Wells High in Newell and Ohio Valley Business College.
Her siblings, James LaNeve, Mary Yanni, Antonette Peluso, Margaret Falascino, Dorothy Hicks, Rita LaNeve, Frances Manypenny, Deloris Adkins, Rose Ruggire and nephew Jim Manypenny, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her nephews and nieces, Cheryl (John) Hissam, John (Pam) Manypenny, Rick (Grace) Manypenny, Kevin Manypenny, Carla (Marshall) Simcox, Mary Allison, Mike (Jody) Manypenny, John ( Patrice) Yanni, and Josephine Matthews.
Father Bill Matheny will preside for the Catholic Funeral Liturgy at Sacred Heart on Saturday, March 8, at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Columbiana County Memorial Park. Rosary will be recited at Sacred Heart on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester.
