Ann-Marie O'Donnell of Hartly, Delaware passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on September 9, 2022.
She was born February 3, 1959, in Plattsburg, New York, to Francis X O'Donnell and Roberta Ann Sutton O'Donnell.
Ms. O'Donnell moved to Dover in 1970, graduated from Dover High School in 1977, then later attended Wesley College. She had many jobs, the most recently at Bally's Dover Casino Resort, formerly The Dover Downs Hotel and Casino. As well as the Bayhealth Medical Center as a switchboard operator. She loved Country and Gospel music and enjoyed attending as many concerts as she could. A few of her favorites were Kenny Chesney, Gary Allan, Blake Shelton as well as For King And Country and Danny Gokey.
She is preceded in death by her beloved mother, Roberta Ann Sutton O'Donnell and her cherished dog Hanley.
Ms. O'Donnell is survived by her brother, Michael; her sisters, Kelly O'Donnell Gardner (Chris), Kathy O'Donnell Ochoa, and Julie O'Donnell Gramb (Richard); her nieces and nephews, Amanda Turner (Daniel), Ashley Gardner also her God Daughter, Kennedy Ochoa, Joseph Ochoa, Christopher P. Gardner II, and Robert Gramb (Autumn); her great nieces and nephews, Aiden, Ariel, Emily, Gracie, and Timothy; as well as her faithful companion, her dog, Bobbie.
A viewing will be held 6:00pm–7:30pm, Sunday, September 25, 2022, at Torbert Funeral Chapel, 1145 E. Lebanon Road, Dover, Delaware. Prayer Service will follow at 7:30pm.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on the following day at 12:00pm, Monday September 26, 2022, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church - 522 Main Street, Marydel, MD 21649. Interment will be held at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to the Gift of Life Donor Program, Philadelphia, PA.
