Ann McCulley, a beloved member of our community, passed away peacefully on January 24, 2026, at the age of 81. Born on January 7, 1945, Ann graced the world with her kindness and indomitable spirit. A proud graduate of Gainesville High School in Gainesville, Georgia, Ann carried the lessons learned during her formative years throughout her life, instilling a sense of joy and dedication into everything she did.

Ann is preceded in death by her father, George Fletcher McKinney; mother and stepfather, Mildred Gaddis McKinney Mangum and Don Mangum; grandparents Rufus and Minnie Gaddis; aunts, Frances Gaddis Helton, and Ruby Imogene Gaddis Kinsey.

Ann is survived by her husband of 18 years, Shannon McCulley; children, Susanne Warnekros (Brian), Sean McCulley (Fran), Ryan McCulley, and Rachael McCulley; grandchildren, Elvie Ann Warnekros, Ruby Virginia McCulley, and John Claron McCulley; and siblings, Ronnie McKinney, and Mike McKinney (Wanda).

Ann was a vibrant presence in her community, known for her involvement with the Nashville Dance Club, where she shared her passion for dancing with friends and family. She had a great enthusiasm for life as she glided across the dance floor, captivating all who had the pleasure of witnessing her dance. Ann was often found singing with friends, turning everyday moments into joyful celebrations.

In addition to her artistic pursuits, Ann had a keen eye for design. Her talent for decorating transformed homes, making them warm and welcoming sanctuaries for everyone who entered. She also dedicated her time to serving on the Woodland Point Architectural Committee, helping to ensure that her community thrived in beauty and cohesion. Ann's commitment to her neighbors was reflective of her generous spirit and her desire to create a harmonious environment for all.

Ann's hobbies were a testament to her creativity and love for life. Whether she was sewing a new garment, crafting a thoughtful gift, or planning a dance recital, Ann approached each endeavor with fervor and joy. Her laughter and kindness touched the lives of many, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of calling her a friend.

As we say goodbye to Ann McCulley, we celebrate a remarkable life filled with love, creativity, and compassion. She will be deeply missed.

Visitation will be on February 26, 2026, from 11:30am to 1:30pm. A memorial service for Ann will follow at 1:30pm. All services will be held at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home, 9090 Highway 100 Nashville, TN 37221.
