Ann Marie (Joubert) Munroe, 66, of Methuen, passed away on Monday, January 5, 2026, at Holy Family Hospital and Medical Center. She was born in Elmira, NY, and was raised and educated in Lawrence, Massachusetts. Ann was a graduate of St. Mary's High School and the University of Lowell.

She shared over 50 wonderful years with her beloved husband, whom she met when they were both just 14 years old. They enjoyed many family vacations in Maine, Salisbury Beach, and Plum Island.

Ann worked as a Registered Nurse at Lawrence General Hospital, Mary Immaculate Nursing Home, and Merrimack College, and retired from the Tenney School in Methuen, where she worked as the school nurse.

She is survived by her husband, James G. Munroe, Jr., of Methuen; her daughters, Jennifer Girouard and her husband Derek of Newburyport, and Justine Munroe of Methuen; her father, Robert Joubert of Methuen; her sister, Kathy Aleksa of Methuen; her brothers, Bob Joubert and his wife Debbie of Methuen, and Steven Joubert and his wife Tina of Hooksett, NH; her sister-in-law Denise and her husband Gil Nadeau; her sister-in-law Judi Munroe and David Joy; and her brother-in-law Richard Munroe and his wife Brenda. She also leaves her grandson, Cameron, and many nieces and nephews.

Ann was predeceased by her mother, Joan (Lawrence) Joubert; her brother-in-law Joe Aleksa; her sister-in-law Diane Lavoie and her husband Guildo Lavoie; and her brother-in-law Bobby Munroe.

By the request of the family, all services and burial will be private.
