Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services West Ridge - ErieAnn Marie Nucerino died unexpectedly, October 6, 2025, after a long battle with heart disease.
She was born to Lucian and Rose Nucerino on May 22, 1941, in Erie, PA, where she spent her entire life.
Ann graduated from Strong Vincent High School in 1959. She began a long and enjoyable career with Erie Insurance, where she rose to Executive Secretary. She remained a valued employee for over 40 years, when in 2005, she made the difficult decision to retire due to a cancer diagnosis.
She loved beach time on Lake Erie and visiting other sunny places with her mom and sister. Ann took great pride in the family home, built by her father in 1958. She loved spending time on the property, cutting grass atop her riding mower and tending to a yard full of flowers, particularly hydrangeas.
She was a beautiful and brave woman – never one to complain. When asked, “how are you, Ann”, her response was always “I’m hangin’ in!”
Ann was preceded in death by her parents and her adored sister, Rosalie.
She is survived by three brothers, Donald (Maryann), Lucian, Jr., and Ronald (Ruth); nine nieces and nephews, Donald, Jr., Paul, Helen Von Halfen, Timothy, Christopher, Erie Callahan, Ronald, Jr., Andrea Dinger, Jessica Dinger and 19 great nieces and nephews as well as one great-great niece.
