Vincent Pepicello III

Vincent Pepicello III, age 83, of Harborcreek Township, passed away Friday, October 17, 2025. He was born in Erie on September 29, 1942, son of the late Vincent Jr. and Essie Pepicello.
Vince graduated from Harbor Creek High School and proudly served in the US Navy on the USS Trathen from 1961-65. Upon returning home, his career took him to Harborcreek Township, where he spent many a winter night away from his family helping keep the roads clear and safe, and eventually led to the role of Garage Foreman until his retirement in 2004. Vince very much enjoyed his "hot rod" days with cousins, Bob and Joe. The man could literally fix anything, especially if it had a motor! He served his community and his family in numerous ways and was instrumental in Harborcreek Little League for many years.
In addition to his parents, Vince was preceded in death by a son, Michael Vincent Pepicello on August 13, 1980; and his wife, Brenda, on January 2, 2008. He is survived by two children, Dean Pepicello (Michelle) and Denise Griebel (Mark); grandchildren, Michael Pepicello, and Carlee, Tyler and Matthew Griebel; great-granddaughter, Hazel Griebel; brother, Dr. William Pepicello (Kris); many close cousins and relatives; his special significant other, Shirley Owens, who lovingly cared for him during his illness; his "little buddy", Julian; and a Harborcreek community grateful for his service.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to everyone at Brevillier Village's Ball Pavilion and UPMC Hospice for their incredible, compassionate care these last few months.
Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral & Cremation Services Harborcreek, 5151 Buffalo Road (at Hannon Rd. in Harborcreek Twp.) on Thursday, October 23rd, from 3 pm until the time of the Funeral Service there at 7 pm, conducted by St. James R.C. Church's pastor, Rev. James McCormick. Interment will be private at Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery next to his departed parents, wife and son. Donations in memory of Vince may be made to St. James R.C.
