A graveside service for Ann Gwendolyn Ritman, 76, of Ferriday, LA will be held at Natchez City Cemetery at 2 PM on Saturday, March 30, 2024 with Bro. Don Tate officiating under the direction of Young's Funeral Home. A short visitation will be held at Young's Funeral Home in Ferriday from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM before heading to the cemetery.
Ann was born on Tuesday, June 03, 1947 in Sicily Island, LA and passed away Sunday, March 24, 2024 in Ferriday, LA. She was a resident of Ferriday, and a member of Ferriday Church of Christ. Ann was beloved soul cherished for her gentle nature. Devoting much of her life to insurance administration and as an agent, Ann exemplified diligence and professionalism. Yet, amidst her work, she found joy in simple pleasures like admiring flowers and casting lines while fishing, even during her time in the nursing home. Her love for bingo, puzzles, crossword puzzles, and word searches illuminated her playful spirit. Above all, Ann held a deep affection for her family and siblings, whose presence brought her immeasurable happiness. Her kind heart, zest for life, and unwavering love will forever be remembered and cherished by those fortunate enough to have known her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joel Ritman, parents, Nolan and Beatrice Seymour, brother, Glynn Seymour, sister, Lynn Nevill, sister, Nan Wiley and her husband Oliver, and sister, Vicki Seymour.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Stacey Ritman, grandson, Jason Ritman, brother, David Seymour, two sisters, Sadie Breithaupt (AJ) and Lea Cranfield, and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

I met Ann in 2011, when I moved to Ferriday, just 2 houses near her. She and her sister Nan Wiley were sisters in Ferriday Church Of Christ. They both were Dear people. My heart goes out to the families.
