Ann Scheil, 93, of Rochester, MI passed away on December 16, 2023. She was born in Detroit, MI on August 20, 1930. She was the youngest of a large family and grew up speaking Polish and English at home. She worked at Harper Hospital for 16 years, where she met her husband Tom. They were married in 1962 and were together for over 61 years. She enjoyed volunteering at school, church, and the soup kitchen and, later in life, at the gift shop at OPC. In her 80's, she renewed her interest in reading, writing, and speaking the Polish language through the Polish Club at OPC.
Ann and Tom were blessed with three children, Christine Ford, Paul (Carol) Scheil and Mary (Darin) Roush. She took great pleasure in spending time with her grandchildren, Joshua, Elizabeth, and Alison Scheil, and Madelyn and Haley Roush.
