Ann Marie Vuoso was born on Sunday, June 6, 1943 in San Pedro, California. She was married for a short time and was blessed with the birth of a son, Anthony Frank Scovotto. Ann Marie was a loving mother, daughter and sister and she helped her parents, Frank and Antonette Vuoso throughout their lifetimes. She adored her younger sister, Franceen, and they shared their lives with each other until Franceen passed away. Ann Marie made sure that Anthony was raised in a good Catholic home, and he attended Catholic schools, receiving a great education.
Ann Marie worked most of her adult life in banking and later, as a Medical Staff clerk at a local hospital. Unfortunately, a stroke removed her from her career and she was paralyzed on the entire left side from that stroke. She spent the rest of her life in bed but always maintained her joyful spirit. Her beautiful smile and sparking blue eyes were always present.
Ann Marie has several cousins, but her cousin Dora, was very close to her and Ann Marie loved Dora like a sister. Dora made life easier for Ann Marie by her consistent visits and phone calls.
In the early morning hours of Saturday, January 11, 2025, Ann Marie reached out and took her Savior's hand and entered into eternal life. Her beloved parents, her cherished sister, her loving grandparents and many other family members were there to welcome her home. The celebration in Heaven must have been wonderful. She leaves here, to love and miss her, her precious son, Anthony, her beloved cousin, Dora and Dora's family, her other cousins, and her friends.
Our heartfelt gratitude is extended to Providence Trinity Care Hospice and the staff at Torrance Regency Senior Living 2 for the tender, loving care she received from them. Special thanks also goes to Joanne Johnson, her in home care giver for many years. Robert Lopez, Cynthia Munoz, Tony del Palacio and Glenn Midgley were honored to care for her the last 2-1/2 years. She will truly be missed but her memory will provide each of us with joy until we meet again.
