Ann M Sizer

Obituary
Ann M. Sizer, age 83, went to be with Our Lord on August 2, 2023 at her home in Wickenburg. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Sizer Sr., who passed away on October 10, 2016. Ann leaves behind her son Charles Sizer Jr., daughter in law Michelle Sizer and beloved grandchildren Savorina and Bennett Sizer. Ann was born in Ware, Massachusetts and lived in Barre, Massachusetts where she owned and operated Ann's Beauty Salon for 45 years. She also managed her husband Charles' trucking business. Ann and Charlie retired and moved to Wickenburg in 2007 to be closer to their son's family. After getting settled in Wickenburg, Ann became a volunteer at Habitat for Humanity's Restore. She served as a volunteer, employee and board member for many years until December 2022. Ann and Charlie enjoyed retirement and enjoyed their travels around Arizona, especially their trips to Sedona and Laughlin. Ann also enjoyed playing bingo with her friends at the American Legion, Wickenburg Elks, and the senior center.
A burial of both Ann and Charles' ashes will be planned at a later date in Barre. A memorial luncheon will be held on Sunday August 27, 2023 at the Wickenburg Elks Lodge from 12-3 p.m. All are welcome to attend.
