Ann Langford Smith, 72, Loving Mother, Grandmother, and Community Pillar.

Ann Langford Smith, 72, passed away peacefully on September 30th, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, dedication, and service. A devoted mother to four children, Ann was preceded in death by two daughters, Ansley Smith and Jessica Smith, and her beloved husband, Terry Smith. She is survived by her two sons Kevin Smith and Austin Smith, her daughter-in-law Alisha Smith, her grandchildren Ella Smith and Braeden Smith, and her sister Linda Parks.

Ann cared deeply for her family and made it her mission to celebrate every birthday, holiday, and milestones with joy and enthusiasm. She was endlessly supportive of her children, always encouraging their dreams and standing by their side through every challenge and triumph. Her unwavering devotion and caring nature extended profoundly to her husband Terry, for whom she provided steadfast love and support throughout their life together.

Ann was fiercely committed to her family, her community, and the countless lives she touched. She was a natural caretaker and tireless community organizer, deeply involved in the PTA and youth sports for many years. She went above and beyond in every aspect of her life. Ann had a gigantic heart that was consumed by helping others, from her family and friends to her coworkers and the students in her community.

For 21 years, Ann served as the Administrative Secretary to the Athletic Director at Brookwood High School, where she played a vital role in helping build a powerhouse athletic program. Ann was described as an icon at Brookwood High School, known not just for her dedication but for the way she inspired and uplifted everyone around her. She helped countless student athletes achieve success both on and off the field, and her impact will be felt for generations.

Ann's warm heart, unwavering spirit, and deep-rooted sense of service will be profoundly missed. She is remembered with love by her sons Kevin Smith and Austin Smith, her daughter-in-law Alisha Smith, her grandchildren Ella Smith and Braeden Smith, her sister Linda Parks, and her extended family, friends, and the many lives she touched throughout her years of service.

The service to celebrate the life of Ann Langford Smith will be held on Monday, October 6, 2025 at 5:00 PM at Tom M. Wages Snellville Chapel. The family will receive friends on Monday, October 6, 2025 from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM at the funeral home. There will be a private family inurnment at Eternal Hills Memory Garden, Snellville, GA.
