Ann Shirley Tartaglia Tobiasz passed away peacefully on March 25, 2025, in Port Saint Lucie, Florida, after a long illness. Born on May 26, 1938, in Utica, New York, Ann had made Port Saint Lucie her home for the past 43 years.
Ann was a devoted wife to Daniel and a loving mother to Kathy, Daniel Jr. and Joseph. She is also remembered with love by her daughter-in-law Vikki; her grandchildren Colleen and her husband Michael, and Kenneth Jr. and his partner Anna, Ryan and Natalie and her great-grandchildren Margot and Maverick. Her sister Eleanor, in-laws Judy, Mark, and Robert, along with many nieces and nephews, also held special places in her heart.
She was predeceased by her son Daniel Jr., sons-in-law Randy and Kenneth Sr., several siblings, and her parents, Joseph and Christina Tartaglia.
Ann was known for her warmth, generosity, and exceptional cooking-her table always had room for one more. She found joy in spending time at the casino and often shared her winnings with family and friends. Saturdays at the movies with her children and grandchildren were among her favorite pastimes.
Though she requested no formal service, donations may be made in her memory to the National Kidney Foundation at www.kidney.org.
Ann's kindness and spirit touched many lives. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
