Ann F. (Fitzgerald) Venturo, of Weymouth, died peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at the South Shore Hospital in Weymouth. She was 58.

Ann was born in Brockton on January 10, 1968, and was the daughter of the late Thomas and Dorothy (Shehadi) Fitzgerald.

Raised in Quincy Point, Ann was a proud graduate of Quincy High School before earning her bachelor’s degree from UMass Boston. It was there that she met the love of her life, Paul, beginning a partnership rooted in friendship, faith, and devotion. They married on September 18, 1994, at St. Joseph’s Church in Quincy.

Ann was down to earth, quiet, and reserved, yet when she entered a room, she brought a warmth that calmed chaos and comforted everyone around her. She always put others first. A natural caretaker, she loved deeply and gave selflessly. She faced life’s challenges with grace and perseverance that outmatched others, never complaining, never wavering, and always handling even the hardest moments with class.

Her relationship with her father was especially dear to her heart. As the daughter of a military man, she cherished the many travels they shared. They attended Army conventions in Nashville and memorable trips to Washington, D.C. Their bond was unbreakable and remained one of the most meaningful relationships in her life.

Faith and community were central to Ann’s world. She was very active at St. Francis Xavier School, where her children attended. She formed close and lasting relationships with the faculty, staff, and clergy, becoming a beloved presence within the school and parish community.

Ann found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved craft shows and scrapbooking, carefully preserving memories for her family. Pink was her favorite color, and she adored blue hydrangeas, lilacs, and red geraniums. She enjoyed country music, especially listening to Tim McGraw, and could often be found happily browsing her favorite stores, TJ Maxx and HomeGoods. She never missed an episode of The Golden Girls, with Sophia holding a special place as her favorite character.

She treasured time spent with her sister and family at Lake George, creating traditions and memories that will live on for generations. Christmas Eve was especially meaningful, spent laughing and celebrating with her best friend, Ann Conroy, whose friendship was a constant source of joy and comfort.

Ann also enjoyed the occasional trip to the casino, where she loved playing the slots, and was known for her remarkable luck.

Above all, Ann was the best wife and mother anyone could ask for. Her legacy is her family, whom she loved beyond measure. Everything she did was for them. They were her world.

Her family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff and healthcare professionals at Dana-Farber for their devoted care and compassion.

Ann was the beloved wife of Paul A. Venturo. She was the devoted mother of Nicholas Venturo and his girlfriend Jordan Nashawaty of Weymouth, and Angela Venturo and her boyfriend Pedro Germano of Weymouth. Ann was the dear sister of Patricia Sidahmed and her late husband Nader of Rockland. She was the loving aunt of Alexander and Thomas Sidahmed, both of Rockland.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Thursday, February 26, 2026, from 4-7 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Route 18, opposite of South Shore Hospital).

A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9 AM on Friday, February 27, 2026, prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Francis Xavier Church, Weymouth at 10 AM.

Services will conclude with interment in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Weymouth.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent in Ann's name to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, by clicking here.
