Ann Waldrop Obituary

Ann Waldrop

March 25, 1937 - March 28, 2025

Charlotte, North Carolina - Annette "Ann" (Mullis) Waldrop, 88, left earth peacefully on Friday, March 28, 2025, at the Robin Johnson Hospice House in Dallas, NC. Ann was born to the late Wade and Geneva Mullis, of Gaston County, on March 25, 1937. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her beloved husband of 53 years, Ted "Ozz" Waldrop, and brother, Wayne Mullis. Those left to cherish her memories are her children, Jon Waldrop, and his partner Sandy Crago, of Charlotte, and Leslie Anderson, of Reidsville, NC; as well as her brother, James Mullis; and sister, Sandra Avery and husband, Joe. She loved her forever best friend, Melanie Mills; and her precious nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at Woodlawn Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, April 4, 2025, at 2 p.m., Pastor Jeff Hicks officiating. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the memorial service. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Robin Johnson Hospice House, as well as your local county animal shelter, as she especially loved dogs! Condolence messages may be sent to the family by visiting
