Ann Elizabeth Wilson, age 87, passed away peacefully on Monday February 16, 2026 surrounded by her family.

Ann, also known as Mamaw Ann to all who knew her, loved spending time with her family and friends. She loved the Lord with all her heart and dedicated her whole life to serving him and left an example for her family to follow. She was the song leader at the church for many years. She enjoyed flowers, quilting, crocheting and going on girl's trips with her daughters.

She was born in Briceville to the late Tom Harness (Eloise) and Lillie York (Red). She was a faithful member of the House of Prayer and Praise in Rocky Top TN where she was the mother of the church and was loved and respected by all the members.

Ann was preceded in death by her husband Everette (Buddy) Wilson; daughter, Cheryl Powers; son, Terry Wilson; sisters, Margie Craig, Rosa Lee Hooks, and Mary Faye Nolan; brother, Tommy Harness, Jimmy Harness, Leon Poore, and Glen Poore and Rusty Harness; daughter-in-law, Penny Wilson; and Best Friend, Betty Poore.

She is survived by children: Judy Bray (Danny), Connie Wilson (Johnny), Patty Smith (Joe), Sherry Beach (Danny), James Wilson (Sherry), and Jeff Wilson all of Briceville, and Tim Wilson (Teresa) of Rocky Top; special friend, Mark Hayes of Briceville; grandchildren, Josh Bray (April), Jeremy Bray (Caroline), Timothy Powers (Kelley), Homer Trett (Amanda), Jeremiah Wilson (Brianna), Joseph Wilson (Tiffany), Jacob Wilson (Haley), Jonah Wilson (Daria), Justin Smith, Bethany Phillips (DJ), Nakita Taylor (Drake), Kami Morgan (Corey), Ashley Carter, Nicole Phillips (Brian), Corey Haynes, and Kailyn Wilson Idles; great-grandchildren, Kadence Bray, Neyland and Beasley Bray, Bailey Phillips, Carter Trett, Holly Chandler (Landon), Stephen, Tyson, Brynley and Maverick Powers, Jericha, Layla , Bella, Nehemiah "Boy", Myiah Wilson, Isaiah, Liam and Lilah Wilson, Jace, Jackson, Colton, Mckinley Wilson, Autumn Hayes, Bryson, Mason, and Easton Taylor, Raylon and Harlan Morgan, Harley and Emma Carter, and Willow Wilson Idles; sisters, Brenda Tinker of Briceville, Joyce Mowery (Claude) of Clinton, Debbie Woods (Steve) of Columbus OH, Carol Luhr of Boise Idaho; brother, Joe Harness (Debbie) of Rocky Top; and a host of nieces and nephews that she loved and cherished dearly.

The family would like to thank Amedisys (Hospice) staff for the wonderful care they provided. Special thanks to care givers Caroline Jacks, Kelley Powers and Patsy Smith for the love and care they provided during her sickness.

The family will receive friends at the Leach Family Funeral Home and Cremation on Thursday, February 19, 2026 from 5 to 7 PM with the funeral service to follow at 7 PM with Rev. Jeremiah Wilson, Rev. Devin Barnette, and Rev. Homer Trett officiating. Her graveside service will be on Friday, February 20, 2026 at 12 noon at Leach Cemetery in Rocky Top. www.leachfamilyfuneralhome.com
