Anna Marie Angier

Anna Marie Angier (MacLellan) passed away on April 21, 2024, in Oceanside, California, at the age of 93. Anna was born on December 8, 1930, in Denver, Colorado. She was a devoted Catholic and a member of Saint Margaret's Catholic Church in Oceanside, California, where she found great solace in her faith.
At 17 years old, Anna began her remarkable career in entertainment when she auditioned for Skating Vanities and was accepted immediately. She quickly rose to the position of captain and traveled the world with the show. Anna later became one of the Roxyette dancers at the Roxy Theatre in New York City, performing on the Sullivan show and serving as a co-choreographer. Alongside her husband Jim, she owned and operated a dance studio in Dayton, Ohio, producing and choreographing off-Broadway shows at Memorial Hall. She later moved to Los Angeles and continued her career choreographing and performing in theatrical theater.
Anna's life was enriched by her passions for gardening, writing children's books, and creating spiritual and inspirational writings. She found joy in listening to Catholic television programs and reading spiritual books. Anna's dedication to her faith and her family was unwavering.
Anna is survived by her four children, John Alex, Mary Fair (spouse David), Elizabeth Alex, and Christiana Olah, as well as her six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members. She was predeceased by her husband, Don Angier, her parents Peter and Marie MacLellan, and her siblings Paul MacLellan, John MacLellan, Cathy Levesque, and Jeanette Savard.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, June 2 in the Hall next to the church at Saint Margaret's Catholic Church in Oceanside, California, from 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM. Food and drinks will be served. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice in memory of Anna.
