Anna Byrom (née Feldinger), age 93, passed away peacefully at home on November 13, 2025, in Excelsior Springs, Missouri.
Born on March 7, 1932, in Salzburg, Austria, she was the youngest of four children. She met and married her beloved husband, Charles Jerry Byrom, while he was serving in the U.S. Army in Germany. Their union marked the beginning of a lifelong marriage of 57 years. On May 1, 1959, she proudly became a citizen of the United States of America.
Anna was a woman of deep faith who found great joy in worship. For many years, she attended Northland Cathedral Assembly of God Church, where she nurtured her spiritual life and formed lasting connections within her church community. Her love for music was especially evident in her passion for singing and listening to the great hymns of old-melodies that brought her comfort and joy throughout her life.
She is lovingly remembered by her son, Charles Byrom of Irvine, California; her daughter, Susan Ann Caron and husband Michael; two granddaughters, Elizabeth Joy Christopher and Rachael Ann Smart and husband Joshua; and one great-grandson, Jack Alexander Smart, born a week before her death. She also leaves a nephew, Norbert Feldinger and Karin; and a niece Herma Pontiller, all of whom reside in Austria.
Anna was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Jerry Byrom; her parents, Peter and Anna Feldinger; three brothers-Peter Feldinger (Stefanie), Hanz Feldinger, and Franz Feldinger (Toni).
Anna's legacy lives on through the family she cherished and the faith that sustained her. May her memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her.
