Anna Pearl Dermott

Anna Pearl Dermott, a beacon of love and warmth, passed away peacefully on April 30, 2025, at Ann's Choice. Born on April 5, 1929, in Philadelphia, PA, she lived a remarkable 96 years gracing the lives of those who had the privilege to know her.
Anna's life was a testament to the power of love and family. She devoted herself wholeheartedly to the happiness and well-being of those around her. Whether she was caring for her beloved family, lending a helping hand to others, or simply listening with an open heart, Anna ensured that everyone felt valued and cherished. Her radiant smile and gentle whistle were constants that uplifted the spirits of all who crossed her path.
She was the adored matriarch of her family, revered as the best mom, mommom, and great-mommom. Her boundless love drew people to her, and she was loved by all. A resident of Churchville from 1956 until 2003, Anna then became a cherished member of the Ann's Choice Community, where she was affectionately known as "their Annie," even though it wasn't her favorite nickname.
Anna is preceded in death by her husband, William Dermott, Jr.; her grandson, Christopher Kelma; her parents, Frank and Elsie Juel; and her brother, Joseph Juel.
She is survived by her loving children: Debra Kelma (David), Holly Hood (the late Samuel), William Dermott, and Michele Mangin (Gregory). Her legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren: Samuel Hood (Melissa), Jonathan Hood, Stephanie Strickland (Walter), Anna Kelma, Loretta Kelma, Maxwell Dermott, Tristan Mangin, and Aidan Mangin; and her adored great-grandchildren: Bryant, Bailey, and Brennan Hood; Kendra, Kaiya, and Walter Strickland; and Rosalyn Kelma.
Her life will be celebrated on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at Campbell and Thomas Funeral Home | 905 Second Street Pike | Richboro, PA 18954. Visitation will begin at 10 AM, followed by a memorial service at 11:30 AM.
Anna Pearl Dermott's life was a beautiful tapestry woven with love, compassion, and joy. Her spirit and kindness will continue to inspire and guide her family and acquaintances.
