Diane Troy, a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother was born on March 29, 1956 in Philadelphia. She passed away peacefully on November 4, 2025 at the age of 69. Her life was a testament of deep love, resilience, and unwavering kindness.
A longtime resident of Oxford Circle in Philadelphia, Diane was known for her gentle spirit and steadfast devotion to her family. She shared a beautiful life with her husband Joseph C., who often remarked that living with Diane was like sharing a home with an angel and a saint bonded together. Their love story began in the 1970's. 1975 highlighted a memorable moment like their date to see the iconic film "JAWS," which celebrates its 50th anniversary this year.
Diane's nurturing nature extended beyond her family to all living creatures, as she had a deep affection for animals. Her favorite film, Disney's "Bambi," reflected her appreciation for the beauty and innocence of life, much like her own character.
She is preceded in death by her father, Floyd Richard Arnold; her mother, Bertha Horner Arnold; and her brother, Robert Arnold. Those left to cherish her memory include her devoted husband of 49 years, Joseph C.; her daughter, Cheryl A. Troy "Cat", her son, Joseph A., and his wife Jamie L.; her son, Jason C. and his wife Lizeth ("Liz"); and grandchildren Jacqueline Welch and her husband Robert, Kimberly, Vincent, and Jayden Troy. She is also survived by her cherished nephew.
Diane's family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at 12 PM, with a service to celebrate her life following at 1 PM. Throughout her journey of life, she never complained about any situation, embodying grace and strength that inspired those around her every day.
