Antonio H. Batista

Antonio H. Batista, born on August 23, 1949, in Parceiros De São João, Portugal, passed away peacefully on October 29, 2025, at Jeanes Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was 76 years old.
Antonio was a dedicated and hardworking individual who spent his career in the construction industry, working in both public works and residential projects. In his later years, he transitioned into real estate and property investment, bringing the same passion and diligence to these endeavors.
A man of deep family values, Antonio cherished spending time with his loved ones. He found great joy in vacations by the beach or ocean, where he could relax and create lasting memories with his family. His commitment to his community was evident through his active involvement with the Portuguese Community.
Antonio was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Joaquim and Maria (da Piadade Henriques) Batista. He is survived by his devoted wife, Maria (Duarte) Batista; his loving children, Millie Batista (Abilio Sousa), Mario Batista, and Bryan Batista (Theresa); and his cherished grandchildren, Raquel, Vanessa, Nathan, Jaydan, Lillyanna, Ivan, Leonardo, and Eva. He also leaves behind his brother, Joaquim Batista, along with numerous friends and extended family members who will miss him dearly.
Services to honor Antonio's life will be held as follows: A viewing will take place on Monday, November 3, 2025, from 6-8 p.m. at Campbell and Thomas Funeral Home, located at 905 Second Street Pike, Richboro, PA 18954. A second viewing will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at Resurrection of Our Lord Church, 2000 Shelmire Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19152, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery, Richboro, PA.
Antonio H. Batista will be remembered for his unwavering dedication to his family, his work, and his community. His legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
