Anna M Durbin, 96, of Spencer went home to be with our Lord on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at Justin T Rogers Hospice Care Center in Fairlawn, OH. Anna was born on April 10th, 1928, in Estill County, Ky to Grover Cleveland and Oma Floyd Dixon. Anna was a born again Christian and very active in her church, Truth Baptist Church in West Salem, OH. She shared her faith with people every chance she got. She was known for her quick wit and humor. She never met a stranger and made friends everywhere she went. She married Robert Durbin on May 20th, 1949. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert, her parents, three sisters, and five brothers. She is survived by Debra Durbin of Spencer, Kenneth Durbin of Medina, Barbara (Bud) Workman of Cocoa FL. Grandchildren Tonya (Matt) Devore, Bill (Melanie) Workman, Robert (Jessica) Workman, Andrew (Tara) Workman, Stephen (Julia) Workman, David (Vanessa) Workman, Daniel (Julia) Workman, and Nick Workman. Great Grandchildren: Clint, Randall, Kaleigh, Ranelle, Abigail, Elizabeth, Naomi, Rebekah, Adrian, Aubrey, Briana, Chelsea, Cash, Monroe, Hunter, Connor, Parker, Colin, and Logan. Great, Great Grandchildren: Chevy, Shawna, Mia, Octavia, Atlas, and Maeve. Anna was given the name of "Grandma the Great" instead of great grandma by her great grandson, Cash. She was so proud of that name.
Funeral Service for Anna will be Friday, Dec. 13, 2024 at 11:30 a.m. at the Truth Baptist Church in West Salem with Pastor Mark Thompson officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. before the service at the church. Burial will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville, Ohio.
