Anna C. Flanagan, 90 of Aberdeen NJ, passed away on Thursday, April 3rd. She had a strong faith in God that guided her throughout her life.

Anna was born in New York City on June 3, 1934. Daughter of the late Catherine (Mullins) and Joseph McMahon. She grew up in the Bronx and moved to Astoria Queens when she got married, where she raised her family. She worked as a receptionist at the Skadden Arps Law Firm for many years.
Anna is survived by her cherished children, son Jack, daughters Sharon and Maureen, sons-in-law Robert and Billy and her dear sister Catherine McMahon Dunbar.
She also leaves behind her loving grandchildren, Colleen, Katelyn, Megan and the late Jack Jr. One great-grandson Jacob and one soon to be.
She was our loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend who was proud of her Irish heritage, loved music, dancing, travel and being out on the ocean.
She had a great spirit of adventure, going river rafting in Alaska and kayaking in Maine. She also had a great sense of style and taste.
Anna had a fun loving personality and a sympathetic and understanding ear if you needed to talk.
Her strong will and disposition enabled her to live a long life.
She was loved by many and we will miss her forever!
