Anna Gipson, aged 78, of Tipton passed away on October 16, 2025, at the Village of Avon Health and Rehab Facility. She was born on December 22, 1946, in Moss, Tennessee, to George and Roxie (Green) Gipson. She was a beloved sister, aunt and friend. Anna lived in Kokomo and Tipton throughout her adult life.
A proud graduate of Tipton High School, class of 1965, Anna dedicated over 30 years of her career to Delco Electronics Corporation in Kokomo before her retirement. Anna led a quiet life and enjoyed spending time with her siblings, nieces and nephews. She deeply valued her time spent with family and friends, particularly at the cherished lake house she shared with her late husband, Dave Williams. Anna found joy in simple pleasures, including completing her morning crossword puzzle, taking walks around the neighborhood, and visiting with her neighbors. She especially treasured the moments shared with her sister, Becky, and her nieces, enjoying shopping trips and dining outings together.
Anna is survived by her brother, Tim Gibson and his wife Brenda of Kokomo; her sister, Becky Brosnan and her husband Joe of Coatesville, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Lawrence Gibson, Gene Gipson, Ken Gipson, and Buddy Gibson.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, October 25 at Fairview Cemetery in Tipton with Pastor Jared Williams presiding. Young-Nichols Funeral Home is honored to assist the Gipson family in their time of need. Please leave online condolences at www.young-nichols.com.
