Anna Sklarsky Herrschaft

Anna Sklarsky Herrschaft, age 95, of Hollywood, Florida, passed away on July 28, 2021. She was the wife of the late Joseph C. Herrschaft who died on December 19, 2005, and with whom she shared 55 years of marriage.
Born in Bens Creek, PA she was the daughter of the late John Sklarsky and the late Susanna Ferchalk Sklarsky.
Mrs. Herrschaft managed the cafeteria for Bishop McDevitt High School for many years and was a homemaker. She also was both a Cub Scout and Girl Scout Den mother and an avid bowler. She was a longtime member of St. Stephens Orthodox Church, Philadelphia, PA.
She is survived by two sons; Ronald Herrschaft (Tanya) of Avondale, PA, and Richard Herrschaft (Theresa Sutton) of West Chester, PA; one daughter, Joanne Gottlieb of Hollywood, Florida, and seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by four brothers and three sisters.
You are invited to visit with Anna's family and friends from 10:00a.m. – 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 3, 2021, at The Episcopal Church of the Advent, 401 N. Union Street, Kennett Square, PA 19348. Her funeral mass of Christian burial will follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in Longwood Cemetery, Kennett Square.
