Anna Hyjack

Anna Hyjack, 78, of Jackson Township passed away on Sunday, November 9, 2025 at home. She was born in Montagano, Italy May 4, 1947 and was raised in Elizabeth, NJ.
She graduated from Sacred Heart High School where she played basketball.
She met her husband Richard A. Hyjack in 1966 and they were married on December 9, 1967.
They bought their first home in Colonia, NJ. The family bought their next house in Freehold, NJ and moved to Jackson, NJ in 2000.
Her first job was at National State Bank in Elizabeth as a teller and later worked for the Paper Tree in Colonia.
She was an Administrative Assistant for Kimberly Clark in Spotswood, NJ for many years before her retirement.
She has two amazing children, Richard A. Hyjack, Jr. and wife Jennifer L. Hyjack and Jennifer A. Hyjack and husband Alexander "Augie" Ogborn. She has three amazing grandchildren, Megan and Ryan Hyjack and Aidan Ogborn.
She is also survived by her brother, Mario Remo and his wife Carmen Remo, sister Carmela Hoffman and husband Fred Hoffman, and sister Antoinette Nimick and husband Craig Nimick.
Visitation will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Monday, November 10, 2025 from 4 to 8 pm and Tuesday, November 11 from 10 to 10:30 am. Entombment will be held at St. Gertrude's Mausoleum, Colonia on Tuesday at 11:30 am.
