Anne Renee Aubel - Liberty, OH
Anne Renee Aubel, 96, of Liberty Twp., passed away peacefully on Friday, April 11, 2025 at Hospice House.
Anne Renee was born January 5, 1929 in Youngstown, Ohio, a daughter to August and Mary (Price) Drevet.
She first worked at Lepore’s grocery store in Girard and then dedicated 28 years as a school bus driver for Liberty Schools. She was a former member of Liberty Band Boosters and was in charge of the concession stand at football games for several years.
Anne Renee was a member of Central Christian Church in Warren and previously was an active member of the Girard Senior Citizens.
Anne Renee was married to the late Harold R Aubel, who she married August 7, 1948 and passed away on August 25, 1995. Also preceding her in death were her parents, a brother, August P Drevet of Boardman, and her oldest son, Harold C Aubel of Tampa, FL.
Anne Renee leaves two sons – Wayne (Jeannette) Aubel of Girard, and Keith (Rhoda) Aubel of Youngstown, along with 12 grandchildren, 31 Great Grandchildren, and 3 Great-Great-Grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 19th, 11:00 AM at Blackstone Funeral Home in Girard, where the family will receive relatives and friends from 9:00 AM until the time of service.
Anne Renee will be laid to rest at Tod Homestead Cemetery next to her husband. The family requests any monetary contributions to go to Central Christian Church, Warren, Ohio memorial fund or Hospice of the Valley.
