Roger L. Massuri, 68, of Girard, Ohio passed away peacefully on October 3, 2025, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown, leaving behind wonderful memories that will forever be cherished by those who knew him. Born on May 20, 1957, in Morgantown, West Virginia, Roger was the son of Rogers F. and Mildred June (Reel) Massuri.
A proud graduate of Girard High School, Class of 1975. He had helped organize his 50th class reunion this year, which unfortunately he was unable to attend due to his illness. Roger's life was a testament to hard work and unwavering commitment. His career path took him from Jensen Lock and Alarm to his recent role as a Customer Service Representative at Summit Racing, where he was known for his friendly demeanor and dedication to helping others.
Roger was a loyal fan to The Ohio State Buckeyes football team. He also had a great passion for classic cars and cherished his 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air.
In his younger years, Roger was always at home on the bowling lanes, the golf course, the softball field where friendships flourished through friendly competition. Roger gained so many relationships through his sports leagues.
A devoted family man, Roger is survived by his beloved wife, Kimberly A. (Livingston) Massuri, whom he married June 23, 1990, and their loving daughter, Madison Grace Massuri. He leaves behind his sister, Lou Ann Massuri, his mother-in-law Suzanne Livingston and a loving circle of in-laws—John and Kelly Livingston, Frank and Jackie Venzeio, JeNell Massuri—along with many nieces and nephews who will carry forward his legacy of love, laughter, and support.
Though Roger is preceded in death by his parents, father-in-law (John Livingston), and his sister, Kathleen Munche, and brothers, Steven L. Reel and Frank Massuri (JeNell), the memories of shared smiles, stories, and family gatherings will resonate in the hearts of all who loved him.
The celebration of Roger's life will be held on October 9, 2025, at St. Rose Church located at 48 Main Street, Girard, Ohio. The visitation will begin at 10:00 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 AM.
As we bid farewell to a husband, father, brother, and friend, let us remember Roger not just for his love of classic cars and sports, but for the warmth of his character and the joy he brought to those around him.
