Eva Anne Woody Bramlett, age 93, passed away on June 20, 2024 at Cameron Hall Memory Care in Canton Georgia. Anne was born to the late Dorson and Lucille Rogers Woody in Blue Ridge, Georgia on June 19, 1931. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eston Bruce Bramlett and Sister, Delores Addington.
Anne is survived by her children, Lesa (Ronnie) Tipton and Bruce (Donna) Bramlett. Sister, Gloria (Dee) Horton and grandchildren; Doug Tipton, Renee (DJ) Carder, Justin (Beth) Bramlett, Rachel Bramlett. Great Grandchildren; Aiden Carder, Isaac Tipton, Ashton Carder, Aric Carder, Audrey Tipton, and Parker Bramlett. Many additional family members and friends also survive.
Anne was to the Christian Faith and a member of Sugar Hill Baptist Church.
As a child, she lived in Morganton, Georgia and worked from age 12 at Woody's Department Store. She attended Fannin County High School were she excelled playing basketball on the 1946-48 state champion teams and was voted by her classmates as most popular and most witty by her senior class. She was an expert seamtress designing and constructing garments. But her true joy was found in her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Special gratitude is extended to Affinity Hospice, Cynthia, Lauren and Leslie, Cameron Hall staff and special friend and caregiver Santana.
The family will be receiving friends at the Cochran-McDaniel Blue Ridge Chapel, Blue Ridge, Georgia on Tuesday, June 25 from 11am until 1pm. After the visitation, the funeral procession will leave Blue Ridge for a 2pm Graveside service and interment at Salem #1 Baptist Church Cemetery, 191 Skeenah Gap Road, Suches, Georgia 30572 with Rev. Eric Davenport officiating.
