Anne Deep Obituary
Born in New Castle on March 12, 1922 Anne was the daughter of the late Abraham and Fanny Joseph Deep.
Anne had worked at Shenango Pottery as a finisher for fifty years, until she retired.
She was a member of St. Elias Orthodox Church. In the early years Anne enjoyed traveling. She also enjoyed going to BINGO, visiting casinos, cooking and baking. Anne's greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews who she dearly loved.
Anne is survived by her sister, Elizabeth Horney, her nephew and care giver, John Apecella, Jr., nieces and nephews, Sam Deep, Diane Kalajainen, Albert Deep, Alan Deep, Cindy Dominick and Debra Brown.
In addition to her parents, Anne was preceded in death by her three sisters, Lillian Apecella, Della Moses, and Frances Klush and three brothers, James, Sam and Mooney Deep.
Visitation will be on Thursday, January 2nd 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at St. Elias Orthodox Church, 915 Lynn St., New Castle, PA 16101. A Funeral Liturgy will be held on Thursday at the church at 12:00 p.m. Father Kevin Long will officiate. Burial will be in St. Nicholas Cemetery.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 941 S. Mill St.
