Anne Jango Obituary
Anne R. Jango, 86, passed away suddenly on Friday, May 3, 2024, at her home in Upton where she lived with her son, Tom Jango.
She was the daughter of the late John and Caroline (Santiani) Cafazzo. She was born, raised, and educated in Everett, MA. Anne settled in Weymouth, MA, where she lived for 55 years and raised three children.
Prior to retirement, Ms. Jango was employed by the US Postal Service in Weymouth, MA, where she served as a clerk.
She enjoyed going to the beach, dancing, Friday night BINGO, and the thrill of the win when visiting casinos both near and far. She held dear the time she spent with her family and friends.
Anne is survived by her son, Tom Jango, and his wife Tanna, of Upton; her grandchildren, Diane Rizzitano, of Florida, Danielle Rizzitano, of Iowa, John Jango and his wife, Danielle, of Upton, Karlie Jango, of California, Michael Jango of Iowa, and Mark Jango of Upton; her great-grandchild, Aria Cristello; her brother John Cafazzo of Lynnfield; and her nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She is predeceased by two of her children, Robert Jango and Donna Chiocca; and her siblings Donald Cafazzo, Sarah Cafazzo Cincotta, and Lucy Cafazzo Gaston.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, May 9, from 4:30 to 6:30 P.M. in the Pickering & Son Upton Funeral Home, 45 Main Street, Upton.
Burial will be held privately with her family.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be sent to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America via alzfdn.org/donate/ or to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute via danafarber.jimmyfund.org/
