Anne Rogers Killefer, age 83, passed away peacefully at her home in Knoxville, Tennessee on Friday, October 28, 2022.
Anne was born June 5, 1939 in Kingsport, Tennessee to the late Ralph L. "Cotton" Rogers and Jean H. Rogers. Anne was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 53 years, Robert Killefer, Jr. and is survived by her dear sister and brother-in-law, Jeanie and Bill Snoddy, her three children, Kristin, Rob, and Mark, and her many treasured grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was a lifelong Knoxvillian and graduate of UT. Anne devoted her life to loving and serving the needs of others in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ through her church, various lay ministries, and civic organizations. As the matriarch of her family, as well as a steadfast friend, Anne's infectious capacity for joy, kindness and gratitude enriched the lives of all who knew her.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, November 7, 2022 at Highland Memorial Cemetery in Knoxville, Tennessee, followed by a memorial celebration of Anne's life and receiving of friends at 1:00 PM at Sequoyah Hills Presbyterian Church. A livestream link to the memorial service will be available on the church's website. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to one of Anne's preferred charities: Knoxville Young Life https://knoxville.younglife.org/, Missio International https://missiointernational.org/, Jesus Leaders Network/Tiva Water https://www.tivawater.com/
